did all the early nova's came with this (say, a 84' build)?

i'm giving mine the 83/84 look, and am in doubt about the pillars..

not all of them, my old 85 1.2 merit 3dr had it because I stuck it on to look like an sr, I think only the sr's & higher spec ones had it.....
