Custom Punch box

I want to build my own bass box but im want a specific sound. I'm not interested in a low pitched thud i want a really hard kick/punch sound.
Whats the best way of getting that sound?
What size box?
what type of speaker?
How many?
How powerful?

Any help really appreciated!

Hey m8, it would be very difficult to answer all ur questions, in one swoop as box size and power ratings can be very different for each manufacturer,

but in answer to

For the bass you want it would be better using 10" sub(s)

What size box?
Manufacturer Recomendation

How many?
Personally i think you will be 2 10" but the chioce is ur's, g oonto ur local ice dealers and ask to hear some ov there subs


How powerful?
Will dpend on what subs ur after, ur ice dealer will recommend somthing so go with the subs



I hope this helps you out a wee bit, i can recommend 2 infinty perfect 10's, i have these in my car and the can handle enough power to give my car a really tight punchy bass,
