This problem has got worse + worse. It started ages ago with a slight miss every now and again but now its constant- until i get into the high revs. What could cause this?
Sometimes it idle's ok but other times it spluters to a stop,.
Its a 1.2, any ideas?

Check the plugs and make sure they are clean and spark ok, if they dont, replace them all, not just one or two.
Hope that helps,
Cris. - Surrey.

More than likely dissy cap. My GTE did the same thing, ok on idle but if you boot it you start spluttering. If you take it off and wipe it out, inspect the contacts for wear and damage, spray some water repellant in it and around it.

It will most likely be a stray spark, Replace Dizzy cap, rotor arm, plugs and leads. This cures about 90% of missfires.
