well hello there!!
i have a pioneer bt something or other, quite a high spec head unit, in my car im running a 10inch celestion sub running off a jbl amp, (twas very basic build, v.good quality sub didnt know the wattage so bowt a mid entry level amp, works well)
and im just running the 4 standard speakers, used in with a high pass filter sound bloody fantastic considering they are 16 year old cardboard cones lol
now if i hold the function button on my head unit i appear to be able to pic frequency ranges, i cant remember the exact ones of the top of my head but basically there are 3 differant ranges and you can pick a frequency within each of them
63,60,125,160hz
200,400,600,800hz
2,4,8,12Khzi think then for each of those there are varying degrees of range.. i think as i can chose 1N,2N or 1W,2W which im going to assume stand for wide and narrow ranges! 2W being the widest range, 1N staying fixed to what frequency you select within each band...
any ideas what the best settings would be?
thanks!
