Anyone used aftermarket LET oil pumps?

Any point in me forking out £170 quid for a genuine vauxhall one? I usually buy GM stuff but are the aftermarket ones just as good?

There has been numerous stories recently about poor 'pattern' pumps that have killed engines. Genuine all the way!

yeh, the man who built my engine put in an autopumps one, one of his engines he built similar time to mine also run an autopumps one, which decided to throw the towel in, needless to say he rang me asking me to bring mine back for a swap to genuine GM one. GM all the way here...
