im pretty sure you can use any xp disk in any computer. do you have any xp disk at all?
you will need a code for all windows. you can use any disc but the should be a code on your computer somewhere
XP can be installed on anything, you can download them it if you know where to look, torrent sites i'd guess...
You can get the software all over the place, free, even from MS themselves - remember, its not the software that costs money, its the serial number. Of course you need the serial number to get a fully working install.
Google for a serial number, doesn't matter what one (most are compromised), put it in at build time, then once built use the WGA fixes to implant a new serial and fix the validation stuff. Not that I've ever tried this of course, but it works. lol
As for putting it on any PC, yep, a windoze CD will go onto pretty much any machine (so long as its not a "factory restore" kinda CD, like you get with Dell/HP home machines etc).

All i have is a 'MESH Computers Recovery CD-ROM' that i used with my pc and it worked fine, probely because its the pc it came with lol
Could this be used?
I also have a windows disc for xp but i tryed it once and it said its older than the current version so wouldnt let me install it! Can i remove the current version and then install the 'older' one? Its got the serial on the side of the machine btw. :thumb:
