Right, my dad's bought an XE for his Caterham rep. (which is VERY frustrating considering I have a Nova parked in the drive lol)...

Anyways, the engine was bought with no clutch or flywheel. As it's going in a very light car (480 KGs curb) we were wondering if a lighter fly and clutch would be a better option anyway.

I was thinking of such engines as the baby XEs etc or something like the 1.6/1.8 items in Zafiras and the like, as they will be readily available is scrappies.

I'm sure someone on here could shed some light.

Cheers

ummm, caterham - RWD, so you probably need a type9 'box or something? I think theres a proper clutch/flywheel setup for that.

Rallydesigns is the first place that springs to mind
