I want to bring my bumpers back to the grey that they're supposed to be as time has faded them a little. I've heard that you can use a heat gun on them and it brings the pigment out of the plastic....?
Any further suggestions?

use a heat gun then treat them with bumper black to make the look last.

Surprised Ade hasn't replied to this with his usual answer which looks to work great on his SR, Ade uses smooth peanut butter on his bumpers.

I think Autoglym do a Bumper care product which is really good
Any sort of Bumper-gel works as well
Make sure its actualy gel and not a spray, as the spray is pish
heat gun will mkae them black
Peanut butter doesnt last tho, it feeds the oil to the bumper yes butr you need to keep on top of it alot.
Your better off with a gel, or heat gunthem first them gel to keep the colour right.

The heat will bring the oil back to the surface, making then look dark again, then keep on top of it with a bit of gell and they'll look new.
