can someone tell some info about alloys..et49?? 100 and 109

what do all these numbers mean?

ET49 is the offset of the wheel. 100 probably refers to the PCD???

You can dig up further information and diagrams for both of them with a quick search.

Edit: 6J will be the width of the wheel. 6 inches I believe.

It's important so you can find wheels that not only fit, but fit well (fit in the arches etc).

100,109,105 etc etc is PCD - Pitch Circle Diameter

PCD - distance in mm from each bolt hole. So, 5 x 100 is 5 bolt holes each 100mm apart from each other.

ET or offset - The offset, measured in millimeters, can be negative or positive, and is the distance from the hub-mounting surface to the rim's true centerline.

EDIT: (ET is the short form of the German word 'Einpresstiefe' which literally translates as insertion depth).

9mm PCD difference. Basically, yes, a lot!

mike the pcd is the diameter that the holes are on , not how far aprt they are
