Hi there!
just bought a gsi dash with clocks and im going to fit it to my 1.2spi luxe plus this sunday
i dont know wheter any of the wires are missing from the back but some of the bllock connecters have been cut off .
And the clocks have no cables coming from the back either.
My main worry is how to wire the clocks in as my standard clocks dont have a revometer etc.
ive seen the article on how to wire a mk2 dash into a mk1 but didnt think it applied, has anyone got any pictures? thanks max
<edit>
or maybe a link to a step by step guide :P thanks!

To put the GSi dash into a mk2 Nova, its a straight swap,everything will just plug straight in, as for the rev counter, it should just be plug and play too, if not, you have to run a wire from part of the coil if i remember correctly.

the plug just goes straight into the back of the clocks, take your old ones out and have a look.
yeah it will all just plug in using the same plugs that are there when you remove your dash

im just going to post a picture of the rear of the clocks, im failing to see where i can plug anything in, sorry for being such a noob and thanks again for helping
you dont have to plug anything extra in , the wire is already in the loom for your old clocks , just that your clocks doesnt use it ,

sorry to jump into your thread here but basically to fit the gsi clocks to my 1993 1.2 spin its just a straight swap and the rev counter will work aswell? no need for any other parts or wiring? thanks :)
if its SPI it will work straight away all fine..
Does the spi have an oil pressure gauge then? I thought that was just the 1600 engines...
Rev counter wire will need a pin adding into the dialset plug if its not already there.
Bah, Minus the oil pressure.
The rev counter is already there and you dont need to touch anything if its SPI (Proven by my nova ;))
