This should probably be in styling?

Should be reasonably easy. Wings, headlights+indicators, grill and i think the bonnet slam panel are different (??). Why would you want to though?

i can uderstand this, i prefer the square look of the mk1. As already said but you dont need to change the bonnet only difference there is the badge. Slam panel dosnt have to be changed.

Sorry will remember to put in styling next time. oops.

Are the bumpers different?

I just prefer the look of old skool cars, i only say this as my mate has offered me his 2litre nova but its a mk2.

just an idea but my mk2 copywings they were mk1 ones with the bit welded on under the light. So it may be possible to just cut the mk2 wings and use them :thumb:

NO. The rake angle of the mk1 lamps to mk2 lamps is totally different. You just had crap, pattern wings.

Is the front panel exactly the same? Is it easy to fit a Mk1 dashboard? Like just remove one and fit the other.

Sounds like you would have been better off buying a mk1! Yeah the dash should be a straight swap and i'm sure the front panels are the same.

Well yeah probably, but this one had the engine and suspensio and brakes all done, and it was cheap off a mate, so sort of helped him out too as he needed the money.

Cheers for the help. Now just gotta source the parts.

Yeeas, but WHYYYY lol

I can't say I've ever done a Mk2 > mk1 dash swap, but take a look at my dash swap guide in the articles section, follow it in reverse lol
