Finally got round to uploading the professional pics I bought at Combe by Jim Gaisford after looking around various sights I think there are a few people that can take just as good pics.

loving the lift, altho the look of the tyre walls makes out that you're understeering but it didn't appear to be on the day...
god you must have deep pockets to pay Jims prices lol
Cool pic's Dave.
Now get your vids up fella.

I didn't get any vids got the wrong setting on the camera in the first session then forgot to turn it off and the battery went flat. Got some vids from Silverstone but can't get them to upload.
It was understeering a bit need to make a few tweeks to the suspension, front springs need higher poundage to stop it wallowing about so much and need to adjust the camber as the outer edge of the tyres are pretty worn now.
Dave.
You could always try slowing down abit lol.

what a very gay suggestion from you Chris... tut tut lol
Dave - the outer edges are worn? I presume you mean from the hard cornering and not positive camber? or I should hope anyway...
You certainly were flying from what I saw up on the bank at Camp (with Lee, how apt)

Lee is camp, he shares the bed with Dar :gay: It's from hard cornering or needing more negative camber, does pretty well though went by plenty of expensive cars.

Not sure when i'm out next money is the main thing as i'd like to sort a better gearbox this winter, might take it to an airfield day at somewhere like hullavington as they are only £99 and 20 mins down the road, that's if my big cuddly passenger is up for it?

Looks Good :thumb: :D
The pics quoted on page 2, G50 UEC still looks as good as that, was built about 5 years ago by the owner of Trix in Dunfermline, then ended up down south but now its back, dont know who owns it now though, if i'd had the money when it was for sale a few weeks back i'd probably have bought it.
Great pics Mr Dave. You definately were flying. I told you that all she needed was decent suspension to turn it into a devestator :)
Im also very glad your back in the swing of it, we were pretty convinced you were going to sell up.
Now all you need to do is join the club ffs! lol

Awesome car. It was popping the odd flame out the back on gear changes too.
Really like this car. What are the plans for the gearbox, straight cut quaife F20 or an F28 I assume?

I nearly did sell 4k was a good offer but when I drove it again I changed my mind. Typical I get mine back out though and you can't afford to use yours.

You can hear it in the car, especially at Silverstone it was doing it all the time. Never actually met you in person Craig think i've spoke on the phone to you before, will have to make the effort to say hi at the next event. :thumb:

I don't want an F28 if I can help it so will most likely be either an F20 dog box or there is a possible other option just need to do some research first.
Dave.

Dave.
If you increase the front spring rate you'll understeer more and get through the tyres more quickly. Ditch the passenger and it'll handle better and the tyres will last longer.
Nice looking car and good pics.

iirc daves only running 250's on the front so it does need another 50lb imo, but as Mark says, dont go overboard, your better off adding an extra 50 to the back end to induce a tad less understeer.

mr lee he has 300's on the front and it feels like it could go stiffer
Well hell need to bring the back up with them or as mark said it will probably just compound the problem.
chris gsi
13-09-08, 07:15 PM
its 250 on the back and if it was mine i would put 350 on the front as it feels to soft at the min as he has more weight at the front than i do and i have 300 on the front and 250 on the back and the car feel sweet in the bends
DaveMarshall
14-09-08, 12:18 PM
Yep as Chris said 300's on the front and 250's on the back. I was considering 350's or 375's for the front and possibly going up to 300's on the rear. All depends what I do gearbox wise as well.
Dave.
Good to see you using the car again dave, thought you'd sold it when we hadn't seen it for a while!
