Just a Bit of an indepth question here, As im not the cleverest person with measurements and maths etc.

Basically, I have a set of 7j wheels with an offset of et25 Now these are sat pretty well...

But, I want some slightly wider wheels but i'm not happy with the stance.

Anyways I'm looking for around 8" rear, 7" front staggered fitment

The tyres im running atm is 175/50/15 and i have no scrubbage whatso ever, i think i have about another 1" between the tyre and outter arch.

I'm just trying to work out what offset i need to get the 8" at the rear and 7.5j at the front. Im thinking an ET 40 would do, with a Stretched 175 tyre for the rear and again the same, maybe a 165 on the front.

The wheels are going to cost about 1k so i need to be sure what im ordering lol. :thumb:

If you use an offset of around ET20
you will get the edge of the rim 18mm closer to the arch
and the inside 8mm closer to the strut

bear in mind an inch is roughly 24mm

ET15 will be 23mm closer to the arch, 3mm closer to the strut

Id go for 195/40 tyres on the 8s too
thats what i have on the front

25.4mm is an inch:thumb:

Will a 175 tyre on an 8 inch wide rim not be a bit to stretched?

sorry yeah my bad
so roughly 25mm per inch, so if you go to around 22-23mm, youll be reet
175 on an 8 is a big stretch thats why i suggested 195/40, or even 35
