they are removed if the content could be offensive, for exampl, some people may not like micky's testicles being dangles on their computer screen while at work, as happened on the post this post is about...

also, if someone were to say they believe that someone is a compplete W**ker, and really go off on one about it, this could upset people and cause problems... Swearing is not the only reason that a post should be removed.
