someone put my engine in for me?

As u will all probably know,Im putting a gte lump into my 1400SR,I am now looking for someone to maybe put it in for me? I have all the parts as far as I know(well,will do when my mate gives me the petty tank finally :evil: ) its mainly cos I dont have enough time to do it,and cos Im as mechanically minded as a bimbo hairdresser :oops: wot do you peeps think?
anyone know anyone who can do it at a fair price?

Befrend a local mechanic.

I use this guy whos been working on my car for the last 2 years - does an excellent job - quoted me ?150 for head gasket, skim, new valves and decoke the other day - 12 mnths guarantee.

Also quoted me ?200 to fit a 1.4 engine in my car inc poss changing gear box.

LOL - he even retuned the engine, checked the cam belt (thought it had slipped 1 tooth) and gave it a general once over for nothing on Thursday!

Cars running as sweet as a nut now!

Now thats customer service!

Sorry - absolutely no help to ya m8 ref fitting yer engine but some local mechanics are very good and really cheap.
