We have to use radiation monitors for work, when were using Iridium they make quite a bit of noise, but Mobile phones do trigger them off very slightly.

ive seen the popcorn one? you get 3 phones all make calls and point them all at a pop corn kernel, just set them in a triangle on a table with the kernel in the middle kinda thing and its supposed to cook, i dont know wether its true though

lmfao, I never understood that - people think the (minor) radiation from a mobile phone comes out whatever direction the speaker is pointing. If anything, surely it would be strongest in the direction of whatever transmitter it was using at the time...

Also the "phone gets warm = must be heating me like a MICROWAVE!!!1!" theory makes me laugh. Erm, hold any small electrical device against a hot part of your body (i.e. head) for a while and it will get warm lol. If I strapped a digital camera to my ear and took 10,000 pictures in burst that would probably get hot too. And I'd look less of a gimp than someone on hands free ;p
