God i hate these days!
I started work at 9:00am and finished at 9:00pm...
This isn't the only thing i did in that time btw lol.
But yeah painting a floor aint exactly exciting is it.!
I suppose sniffing 2pak paint for 4 hours or more aint really healthy eh?

Exactly. Im also not allowed to use an arrestor strap (a long cord that will slow your fall if you leap out of it) because im working at different heights, so I have to use a restraint instead which phisically stops me from being able to leave the confines of the lift.
It also completely stops me from being able to move from one end of it to the other without un clipping it, and by the end of the day, i was actually contemplating leaping out of it to end my misery lol

I was a bit dozy after about 20 hours, but then I started overdosing on coffee every hour which worked a treat :D

No i don't do painting & decorating lol...
I'm a Sound, Video and lighting Technician but my boss called me to the HQ to sprouce up the old storage room lol.
I used to do a bit of tech work Novalad, with my 'mate' until he stole my gf and I kicked his head in. Shame, is a good gig if you can get the work.

I wish I had a quiet day at work - feckin none stop just now - new team 7 new agents who havent ot a feckin clue - customers who think they know more than you and a boss who thinks its more important for me to make "clear desk" posters rather then support my team!

ATM am not cards in a just do the odd job when they ring me...
It's not great but i don't got any bills to pay so it's not that bad.
Sometimes like this week i have had 6 days work given to me which then that money will cover me if i want anything after my holidays...
I love the work though... worked with people like top dogs of united stadium - Ricky hatton - Loads from corrie - Patrick Stuart etc...

Everyday is long and boring for me, the motor trade is dead round here at the mo so i sit on the internet all day, hence my post count going from 600-700 about 3-4weeks ago to nearly 1500 now lol

oioi which company do you work for? im pretty much the same! but im located in blackburn, we do nightclubs etc and specialist work, Unis, sport stadiums, its good work, quite abit of voice alarms too, ive just installed a big disco ball in our workshop haha, just sprucing up some pin spots to make it look pretty
p.s. i had to use the word spruce after i read it, its a belter i tell thee

I was so bored at work yesterday I went and bought 20l of Masonary Paint to paint the garage as doing that was so much more exciting than being at work.

Lee, this sounds mental and will taste horrid but I have a plan.
Get some lemsip, put a drop of whiskey through it and drink it as hot as you can. Then pass out in bed well covered and under a large duvet and sleep it off. I garentee you'll be cured when you wake up.

My mum makes lemsips like that, couple of spoons of unset honey, two soluable asprins couple of drops of lemon, top up with boiling water and a good measure of whiskey, its better with real honey aswell as it has anti-biotic properties, do that and you will feel miles better after a sleep:thumb:
I'm telling you. In 2hrs time you'll wake up and be cured. It tastes aweful and is difficult to drink but after 1 sip you can feel it work. Just be sure you lock the door in the house because it'll knock you out so much you could well be raped and not know til you wake up.
