Just fitted Spax coilovers on th nova but when i put on my speedlines 16in they rub like a biatch. The inside lip on th alloy, that th tyre bead sits into rubs on th coil spring. I am thinking that 5mm spacers would fix the prblem but i'm not keen on them, th tyre will rub off th wing and does it not fuk up th camber an stuf. Has anyone else had this problem and any ideas how i can fix it??

cheers colin

it happens

couple of options -
-fit thinner wheels
-raise the ride height so the rim doesnt catch the collars
-fit3/5mm spacers and roll the arches

its just one of those things

now youve got them fitted though, you will need to have the camber/tracking set up

Yeah speedlines and spax normally have this effect, with Will f's car it happened when he had spax, just chuck some spacers on.

throw the helper springs into the back of the garage if you have them too.

Shorter springs so you can wind the collar up above the tyre, thats what i've done.
