i'm sending my 2.0 xe cams off for reprofiling at autosprint (birmingham) as soon as my new exhaust one arrives. i'm torn between 276 degree fast road and 288 degree sprint. apparently the 276 comes 'on cam' at around 2800 and the 288 at 3600. i have lightened and balanced rods with arps so dont think having to rev it a little more will be an issue but what will the revs be tailing off at and which will be more usable during 'enthusiastic' road driving? also will the valves still clear on standard pistons with these profiles? been told they will. all help much appreciated, cheers:thumb:
