i am looking to find out what happened to one of my old cars a black corsa sri converted to a 1.6 nova gte engine.
i traded it in at a garage near shrewsury i think it was called roger hojskis about 5 years ago now.

when i traded it in it had a bonnet scoop with astra gsi vents and a smoothed bootlid (unpainted) and a suple front bumper but for the life of me can't remember what it was called. the interiour had Mk1 astra gte front seats and may have had harnesses in i can't remember if i left them in.

dvla lists it as being untaxed at the moment so i fear it may have been scrapped!!

just wanting to know what happened to it . anyone know of its wearabouts??

just an observation, but how does a garage let a car with an old engine get past an mot test, surely it would fail on the emissions????

Not really as the car can be tested according to what engine is in it providing proof of the engines origins (photocopied V5) is produced.
