new plates what you think

i know they are illegal but i dont drive her that much any way and winter nearly here now so she not be out untill summer any way. well i can almost guarentee it will still be on for the summer months though as i love the look

well as every one prefers the old plates ill post some pictures with those! the small one will be off by the time it comes back on the road as i wont be using it untill next year now so i have plenty of time to get some metal plates. i got one comment in my project thread one person liked it thanks vaughanmc lol

The first day i bought my car.. it had plates on, slightly smaller than standard, but set out like 'J 77OVA'. I got pulled twice on the way home, and slapped a nice 30 pound fine.

gutted if they wer slightly smaller than standard im fu*ked because thats less than half the size of the origional. ill probrably just save it for shows then well its staying for a while as she wont be out to play untill next year now

My mates old red SR was F441GNK. He sold that back in 98!

well thanks what ever you view it will be getting changed in some time when i get round to getting some of those metal plates im not shure if thier leegal either but im not that fussed. infact does any onw know the site where they make those plates i may invest in some now lol

yea mate i remeber you saying before matey red was it not??? and for the plates ive had mixed views up here from my mates some love it some dont i got one as my mates s2 escort rs turbo looked allright with a small plate on front but i prefer the metal plates any way so it will be off in time!

If you like a smaller plate why dont you get one like they have on motobikes/Evos (Square) and put it on the far right (looking at the car head on).....IMO

nah i really dont like the sqare one's i think they look sh*t as ive said im changing it for a normal size metal plate i may go for the black and silver ones go old skool lol i was just experimenting thats all wonderd what it would look like with a small plate like that
