Just been looking at that myself. Cant work out if its "proper" flocking using an electrostatic charge though?

Yeh it will be. To be honest theres so many well known companys doing it for £90-£100

Other companys are starting to get cheaper

I would personally only use sfs

They do group discount too :thumb:

What process do you use to apply the flocking?

We use top quality plastic primer.
This is followed by Two Pack Heat-Proof Epoxy adhesive which is mixed with the appropriate colour pigment.
The flocking is then applied.
This process ensures that the flock is hard wearing and can be cleaned safely and repeatedly.

Taken from the eBay page. Seems a good price and will refund you £20 if you collect it.

Ah now, in fairness judging from what Keiths said, they were pretty decent to him all things considered.

I would only use suffolk flocking services as well. Everytime i have used them i have recieved great service and a fast turn around on parts.

They said it had been posted x number of times and a 2-3 week job took months? quality was acceptable but not 100%

They lost the first dash and flocked the second for free, iirc all he had to pay for was the postage, that dash came and wasnt in great shape, so he got a spare dash off me and trial fitted his first one, and the damage (caused by the packaging) was hidden.

I had mine flocked by the company that do all the Subaru WRC Prodrive cars, M-Sport WRC Focus and Mitsubishi rally cars in Birmingham.

Top job, and if good enough for the top rally/race teams, good enough for me little ol Nova.

Think it cost in total about £120ish.

SFS did my dash and yes the quality is good but.... every time I have tried to get in touch with the guy he either never answers the phone/ never replies to my emails, And Ive heard many complaints about them since. This is why I found another guy to do my work, Raj at autoflock see the link below, his quality, prices and turnaround times were excellent and he always keeps you in the loop with how things are progressing too I wont go anywhere else now. :)

I'd never recommend Suffolk flocking services to anyone. Doug was fair in that he refunded me, but the amount of lies he tells is unreal. He told me the dash was posted, then when it finally arrived the slip said it wasnt posted until days later.

All this after months and months trying to get the dash back. When it finally arrived it was damaged, and i'm still not happy with the finish. He didnt do the lower lip on the glovebox, so I had to paint it black myself. He didnt do inside the door pockets, so they stand out like a sore thumb. He half missed the top of the glove box, and also missed the top of the ashtray surround.

I'm going to gather the bits to have another complete dash done by a proper company over the winter, and swap everything over.

basically yeah. Allow it to dry & dust off whatever didnt stick.

Theres a place local to me that does it for rally cars.. getflocked. I might see what there prices are like.

Tbh I wouldnt use SFS after Keiths experience. So what if they are a banner sponsor on Vauxsport! :(
