hey peeps. i'm wanting to change the mk1 SR bumpers on me nova for something different. i was thinking about getting some mk2 sr(i) bumpers but i didn't know if they were the same as standard mk2 bumpers or not?

:?

also, am i right in thinking i'll need just the mk2 irons for the carrige bar and not the bar itself?

cheers folks :)

alright m8 - yes you will need the mk2 carriage and irons as the mk1's are shorted (I think - or the other way around).

you'll also need new wings, grill and lights or else you'll have a bumper that looks totally out of place and wotr fit properly.

The sri bumper (or gsi) is different from the mk2 standard bumper in as much as its deeper and has a different lower grilled section. Its more beefy and curvy at the bottom that a standard mk2 one. Basically from the number plate bottom recess its totally different.

cheers ade, thought i was invisible for a moment there!

i've seen the gsi bumpers on mk1's though, whoever fitted them must of done a bit of fiddling about to get them to fit properly i guess.

i think it might look smart if i can get it to fit.

ta m8 :)
