Bought an xbox 360 the other day, problem is my internet is aol broadband and have a dsl that goes from the phone to the pc. My bedroom/xbox is up 2 sets of stairs and quite a bit away from the phone line so how can i get onto xbox live? Will i have to get a phoneline put into my room or can this be done wireless-ly? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you can get a wireless xbox adaptor - but need a wireless router to connect to. i would just get an adaptor that goes in the phone line and lets you run 2 cables - b&q maybe? just get a 30m cable off ebay and run it from the phone line to xbox :)

Best bit of kit IMO.
Reliable, never disconnects, easy, tidy, cheap.

Customer review, fits your problem a treat.

'My router is in my front room and my office is on the thrid floor of my town house. I was having poroblems when trying to connect via wireless. I purchased the twin pack plugged one in the front room and one in my office through the plug sockets. The product sits on my desk looking very cool and gives me a perfect network connection.'

so if i got the phone line put in the room, would i still have to get a modem for up there too, to plug the ''ethernet'' cable into yeah?
