Do u think i should modify my GTE or leave it as standard?

lol only you can decide that! Its nice to see a well kept standard example of a nova but its also cool to see what ideas people come up with.

Hows about just some simple mods and see how it goes..

Its a habit you will never get rid of if you start to modify it... I never intended to spend the amount of money i have on mine! expensive hobby

LOL Breeny, I still can't figure out where you get your money from :P

Tilly, the question you've asked is what goes through everyones heads when they first start modding, especially if this is your first car. After all that I've done to my car, I'm starting to think "should I have kept it standard?"

Perhaps start off with mods that can be converted back to standard form easily if you don't like them after a while, for example, wheels. Wheels will transform the look of your car and will give you a starting point as to where you wish to end up.

Take your time, don't feel pressured by everybody elses modifications. Theres plenty of GTe's out there with different mods, so it shouldn't be hard getting some ideas together.

A good idea is to keep all your reciepts for items bought and any work that has been done to your car. This shows that the car has been cared for, even if it's been modified.

Good luck, modding can be expensive, but soooooo worth it

Yeah modify. You have the bubbles, all you need now is silicone.

And as for the car? Yeah go on then.
Personally there is not a single car on the planet that i would leave un-modified. Yes, including 'super-cars'.

yer average car will have (in its lifetime) at least 3 modifications from the "standard" factory finished article.

Useless info for ya!

:D

Mod it Tilly - start small - wheels, suspension, side indicators and clusters (clear smoked), ice, interior (leather?) etc and then if you want more power look in the engine.

Personally I like the GTE - even with its mk1 front - what ever you do to it - keep it tidy, keep it sleek and keep it within yer bidget - christmas is coming up!

Ask yer man for a set of alloys for christmas!

I want a gsi for christmas!

Need a bloody big tree to put it under!

Though it's also whether you're prepared to lose most of the money. As you will when it comes to sell a modified car.
If you spent over ?10,000, you'd probably make more stripping it and selling the parts separate, rather than the whole car.
