Hi all, im new here and i thought id show my ride,

It is a 1990/1991 vauxhall nova merit 1.4i,

i am making a few projects for myseelf, such as re routing the ariel to the roof etc,

i want to do the wide arch conversion but funds limited,

also wanna do black bonnet and eventually get the bodykit

wont fit on 4 door - maybe front wide arch will but defo not back :) but that would look poo with just wide at the front LOL

i think what you all mean is that it wont fit outta the box, anything can be altered if you know what your doing,

The wide arches are designed for hatch arches, and 2dr's, 4dr's have got the doors in the way of where the arches will fit, so although you can make it work I don't think it'll ever look right.

Best bet would be to lower it 60mm ish, decent set of wheels, and whatever power plant you fancy. :thumb:

well ... lol

i aint changin me plant, as im only 17 and insurance is a stinger anyways.

will be lowering it, nice wheels, spoiler and then bodykit (not ot like some i seen)

and eventually possibly a respray, ...

Sound ok?

oh also, im gonna get a new zaust, lol the standard nova one is rather well... anyone who owns a nova will know what i mean lol

rust = grinder + new panel + welder + time (and money) = no rust

Depends on how bad it is, if its only surface rust you might be ok not replacing the whole arch, pics would help.

arch is being welded next week,

local MOT test station gonna do it

in which case, they CANT fail it...
