i need this part - the bit that is bolted onto the carb by 2 bolts and then onto the cone filter. what is it and where can i get one?

what so its just the air filter bit off a corsa? does it matter which corsa?

can i use the actual airbox aswell from the corsa?

yes i cant see why not using that on a nova allows you to fit a cone filter

ah, 1 other thing. i might as well put it in this thread no point in making a new one. is it possible to put a corsa dashboard into a nova? if so- how easy is it?

I doubt it will be impossible, but there are so many things that won't fit that I think it would be too much trouble

cheeze stuck a corsa dash in his nova and it was a biatch to do - you need to shorten it for starters...

for the first question they are normally called a top hat! and its a throttle bodie not a carb ;)

second question it has been done quite a few times. i beleave rexy is in the process of fitting a corsa dash so might be worth having a word with him

Corsa dash doesn't need to be shortened, only needs to be trimmed round the bit where it sits against the windscreen, i have one sitting ready to fit to a nova if anyone is interested lol

would the top boxes the red tops have also fit seems as they are metal and would look better imo

Redtop bits wont fit a 1200 spi? The sfi box is plastic if thats what your on about?

one other thing - the corsa airbox, does it need to be the one with 2 bolts or 3 bolts to fit onto an SR carb/throttle body? as burgo said?

cant you tell by looking at yours?? 2 bolts are spi and a TB 3 bolts is a carb
