Well, i went to view a GSi Nova locally very briefly to give it a little once over. The asking price was €2700 which is very cheap but as the funds didnt permit, i was just being curious. Not without a need for a little work but nothing a weekend wouldnt sort. SO the guy rang me back a week later and said his Cav Turbo is mid respray and he needs money, €1800, what he [paid for it.
So I spoke to the Bank, arranged a few quid a few days later and went to see the car last night. I had a good look round it and found one of the wings rusted under the skirt and bubbling upwards, (sill would have been infected as well) and the rear 1/4 panel had a bit of visable rust at the top corner of the skirt, which led the whole way to the sill which was in poor condition. As it was a good day I got under the car only to find its been body shot in the last 2 months. I also found the remains of a bolt welded in the innce arch in the bay, obviously used to plug a hole and welded up ignorantly.
Being dry and not raining like the previous time, the drivers door was rough with a LOT of over spray, the bumper didnt sit right and was a shade lighter and the lights grill etc werent a fantastic fit.
I'm sickened with disappointment now as there may only be a few in the country and this one was local and not dear but more or less fooked.
