Have pulled 200bhp from the current 2.4 Transit engine but the pump was maxed out :( There is also a 200bhp 3.2L I5 tranny due soon which is a riot to drive (lights up the back end in 3rd :D) on a different pump, but its still close to its limit, where as the rest of the bits are fine for going to 250-300bhp lmao

Hmm, that be direct injection, I would imagine you should be able to use the same sort of procedures you use on the 1.7 vaux lump Nick. Im pretty sure Stuart will be of no help as he couldnt do bog all with mine, which is also direct injection :(

Get friendly with someone with remapping software!!! And because it's a Ford engine, there might not be that many about with the right hardware and/or software!!!

ahhh the old tranny engine (see Lee's comments re my helpfulness then lol). We did make the ECU, but im afraid no one in the company knows what the hell to do with it now.

I can fiddle the new trannies until the Euro5 ones come in

mines got a 75ps sticker on it, my other work mate has the same engine and it says 93ps but has an intercooler, mine just has a pipe lol

lol the company will jam, spring rolls into the ecu till it works

one of the vans kept on stalling, they changed the fuel filter housing :wtf: (refitted old filter lol ), fuel sender, as they did not want to fit a new fuel pump, as the one we had, had a diff pulley, they ended up, cutting the pulley off and welding it to the other pump lol

one of the main causes of the pumps dying on these engines is the filter housing, they start drawing air in and it eventually screws the pump
