what extras come in nova's?

just wondering what came as add ons on nova's?

heard of electric mirrors,sunroof, and even heated seats in a mk1 sr a local girl had.

Im sure someone with abit more knowledge will be along in abit. Electric sunroof wasnt an extra, people use the motor and roof panel out of a Cavalier i think. Heated seats, same again, mine are out of a Calibra. Mirrors, i *think* they came on Novas or Corsas as they were in europe, nut not in England

the sr/sri , gsi had electric windows , the nova luxe had electric windows and central locking , there was also some that had opening rear windows thats all i can think off at the moment .

They were standard on mk2 flairs and srs/sri's iirc lee.

Aye but i'm pretty sure it was an option on any lower spec model as well.

was that not on all mk2 SR/SRi's, well either blue or red depending on colour of interior.

EDIT- also gear knob coloured to match heater knobs lol

im sure in total vaux with a mint black gsi, nova's in sweden had heated seats. didnt they come with a headlight wiper option 2

Lee, flairs also had the coloured heater knobs, seats were same pattern as SR/SRi but base model shaped seats lol

Every single nova came with rust and rot hiding away in it aswell but vauxhall never let on to this, they left it as a special surprise later in the cars life to magically appear!

Iirc, some pov specs like luxe+ had central locking & electric windows a 5 speed box and door cappings.

mk1 SR`s all had central locking, 6-dial clocks with voltmeter and oil pressure guage and an optional tilt/slide sunroof and mk2 SR`s had elec windows and illuminated sun visors.

Mk2 SRi`s had all the same spec as mk2 SR`s but some had 6-dial clocks with voltmeter and oil pressure guage.

GTE`s all had door cappings, central locking and a tilt/slide sunroof and 6-dial clocks with oil pressure and volt guage but electric windows were an option and fairly rare to find them fitted originally

GSi`s all had door cappings, electric windows and central locking a tilt/slide sunroof and a black dash with 6-dial clocks with oil and volt guages.

Some foriegn models had heated seats for cold climate as options and opening rear window glass for hotter climates.
Other options were electric passenger mirrors, wind deflectors and headlight protectors.

Tis about all iirc!

And also tinted glass and windscreen toptint, sliding tiltable sun roof, tailgate wash/wipe, 2 coat metallic paint and black paint were all options you can have and the prices for each as follows

Was part of the electric window loom and came as standard in all GSi`s but the drivers side isnt a motor its just a switch to lock the passenger motor and the passenger motors die so yours was probs just dead lol

Healight washers were also an option aswell as foglights for the Mk1.

Opening rear quarter lights, tool kit(Similar to Mk1 Astra GTE) on early SR's, electric aerial.

Opel put yellow and green versions of the SR/Flair Mk2 interior inc sun visors & heater knobs etc in the Joy models.

Aircon was a dealer fit option!
