Had my test today go get into the raf, well i thought id get an early night to have a fresh clean head to take the test but nnoooo. My neighbours had a argument last night till 2:30 so couldnt go sleep. So taken the test almost falling asleep of 6 hours of inteviews and tests to find out i didnt get the mark i wanted, I only needed four more points to become a firefighter and i got 46 and needed 50 . But i can take the test again in 6 months or go in as a driver as you dont need to past as much for that. So do i now wait and go for what i want or go in now as a driver

What a day hey :(

surely you could go in as a driver and after 6 months re take the test to be a firefighter ? if you pass take up the firefighters role and stop being the driver

Could you not go in as a driver to get your foot in the door and move up whilst there or does it not work like that, you want to go round and thank your neighbours for being so kind and considerate and possibly having funked up your chances aswell!

well i dont think so as they didnt say anything about that, hmm maybe ill go back and ask. but yea dont help being knackerd in a test like that with a memory test.

And its also ive took 6 months off work to get fit for the firefigter test aswell and have lost £0000s of money from doing that lol great

Id seriously look into whether or not you can go in as you are with the intention of moving up as soon as possible?

Yea it would be ok, still get to see the world and have fun ect. but i will still see if i can be a firefighter first as its more money and ive wanted to be one since 4 years old lol

And if i went in as a driver i might learn good skills how to drive and beat you round combe Dar pmsl lol

I found it hard in away because you dont have long at all to do the questions, but if you do go for it make sure you have a good nights sleep. i think thats what stuffted me up:mad:
