if i could offer you one piece of advice it would be - do not put bonnet pins on your tailgate, and if you must - do not mount them where i have!! most people put the pins just above the tail lights, which to be honest is best.

ive got them at the bottom but to do this i have to modify the pins and the clasps. it was, i kid you not, 4 nights work to get them lined up and working without catching!

i will take a photo for you tonight though.

not original,was resprayed a year or so ago in subaru sonic blue.

the flaps(can i say flaps?lol) were brought on ebay,they do just screw in with self tappers.got about 3 per flap.

Looks to me like theyre off to the righ of it ever so slightly, if youre running aq cone filter would be a silly idea to do this tbh as it will allow rais/road water in bad weather straight into the airfilter and in really bad weather could hydraulic the engine!

No, there were rumours it got trashed, but it was seen at TRAX last year looking fine apart from a missing grille. Charge cooler had been dumped in favour of a FMIC.

Definately one of the finer Novas from the glory days.

Was it actually MAP18W as was, at trax last year as i thought there was a thread showing a similar one with a kit on it, which a few thought was this car, but i remember seeing a purple let one at trax last year was at the side of the 0-60 strip iirc, which was the one someone veiwed through eghey under a tree covered in filth with paint flaking off the roof and the exhaust rotten so bad it was on the floor underneath it?

Taa for the coments, the g-plate was bought with the no. plate at the bottom, thought it looked ok at the time. hence the f-plate in original position.

i would keep the cav slabs in its original form, it will look more factory (if thats the look ur after)

ive sold the wheels since and a bit gutted tbh,as i was about to paint them anthractie,but sold them oN on ebay for £112,it did at one stage it did look like this!

Aye, funny resolution in the camera but I reckon its possibly the Aubergine that Astra GTE 16v's came in (not Bordeaux Red) or the colour on that Cav SRi. Does look really subtle though.
