Hi, i was just wondering if i can get peoples thoughts on the Toad car alarm.

i am looking to get it fitted in to my Nova but i want to know what its like first.

I use to have a toad a601i fitted to my old GSI.It never false alrmed which was a good thing and was a good peice of kit.

Ive always had toads usually ai606`s as they do the job never seem to false alarm (unlike cliffords) and theyre not too expensive!:thumb:

AI606 on all my previous cars, can't fault them. Can also accomodate total closure.

as above had one in my cally v6 did the job no false alarm just dont lock your keys in it lol

Always had them, never had a problem. Proximity sensor's worth a look too

I've got a new AI606 somewhere but struggled to find anyone willing to wire it up for me :(

Ive got a Clifford Concept 600 on my Nova with some extras! A different Clifford was fitted when i bought it, but wasnt fitted great so had the Concept 600 fitted that came out of my written of car. The Toad alarms seem good aswell.

I've had an Ai606 on 2 of my cars and I would recommend them :) The extra's are worth having too as already mentioned.

I have a toad alarm on my SR - not sure which make (has a green button and black button for silent arm) and its excellent. V loud siren which works the horns too.

cool.. cheers everyone.. sounds wicked.. gettin it this weekend.. got a right deal on it coz its off my m8s old Nova so all good :)
