Isuzu 1.7TD Fuel filter

I need to change the fuel filter on the GF's Ashtray TDS (mk3), is there any clever procedure, or is it just a case of taking the old one off and screwing the new one on? Do i need to pre-fill it? bleeding procedure?

Afaik when my mate swapped mine he just poured a little of the surplus diesel into new filter and it makes it less likely to need bleeding, just dont pour it all in or you will fill new filter with crud lol

If yours is mounted anything like a cav or is even a cav then the clutch cable is clipped into a bracket on the filter too so can be a little more awkward to remove iirc!

Possibly similar setup so might have same mounting for clutch, mine fired up straight away afterwards so not too sure about bleeding, if any, should be needed
