right, getting loads of welding on my car done soon. i phoned up the vauxhall spares place and tried to explain what i needed. i'll post a pic of what i need on here. its the part in the wheel-well bit inner arch. . . (its the bit that THIS BIT HERE is written on, just realised that the arrows are pointing to the brakes)

not a chance dude, youll have to make your own, youve got more chance of finding the field of novas in spain than getting one of those lol

Lmao @ "the field of novas" comment:thumb:

But he is right though mate you cant get the splash guards anymore not even pattern ones iirc, you will either have to fabricate your own or weld a section in then grind flat to match:)

thats what i was gna do anyway but i thought it might be easier doing the whole thing rather than just loads of little patches? oh well - harder way it is then :wall:

Not really as if you cut out a section back to clean metal, then do what ade does, mock up a template from card (cereal packet or something really easy to trim/shape) then use that as a template to cut your patch from, then grind the welds flat and smooth then paint/cover in stonechip and noone will spot it!

Just plate it up mate :thumb: Costs a few quid and is an easy enough process

i had to do that but mines was worse. I used sheet metal and made up plates for both the wheel arch and the bit at the jacking point. Make cardboard templates up and take folds etc into consideration :thumb:

My SR needed a couple of plates too lol Break out the welder dude. It's easier to plate a section up than remove the full panel

Easy fix that.
I just bought myself a large sheet or metal and have been using it on loads
of different novas as they come and go. :)
Just cut away the rot on the edges and cut a piece to suit
Easy 15minute fix that is
