how do i make the bass in my car really loud. runnin a 12" infinity kappa with 500 watt amp and 10" fli active in my car sounds ok inside but cant hear at all outside. had the same problem with 12" pioneer. but my mates 2 10" sony xplods on 400 watt amp are loud as hell. thinking about running 2 12s together would that work?

id try to stick to the same brand subs if your running more than one at once, and what head unit are you running them off? as if its a lower spec model, Mutant X etc, then you will need to upgrade that!
what enclosure have you got your 12" in also? and is it cladded out?

its all about the enclosure
Your subs are mismatched for one, ideally you want two 12"s nut how often do you run or walk alongside your car whilst driving....... Never youre always in it driving, sooooooo.
Can you see whats coming here?
If it sounds good inside then there is nothing wrong at all, do you spend loads on your ice to entertain the street urchins when youre driving about or yourself?
^ As above.
If it is audible outside then that means it is leaking out in a sense, thus making it quieter inside - where it's meant to be heard.
Deaden the car and keep it inside.
It's gay wanting the bass outside just so people hear you!
