maybe (most likely) a stupid question, but has anyone ever replaced the pipe from the AFM to the inlet with a Samco one?? im 99% sure ive seen one with a big samco pipe instead of the black flexi rubber one. if you can do it, what happens to the vacume sealed outlet on it????

maybe a daft idea, just wondering really.

You can get hold of screw in barbed fittings I think.

Chris Astley routed his filter under the scuttle like that with an 8v 1.6.

ah nice! so it can be done! quite fancied doing it, for no other reason that it'd look pretty cool. Samco do a 45 deg elbow that is the right diameter, just havent got a clue what to do with that outlet bit.
Make a hole in the samco elbow, that the outlet fits into very tightly, then seal round where the two meet on the inside??
feel free to shoot me down, only thinking out loud.
screwed in barbed fittings could be the way forward, but again, havent got a clue!
any pics of BIGS one?

Viper performance can make up custom hoses but its not cheap.
Demon Tweeks sell the hose adaptor that you want that allows you to put a smaller breather into an air flow pipe!!:thumb:
Or just use a Saph Cos Samco T/B hose with D/V outlet :thumb:
