i just bought a nova, it didnt have a stereo or anything , just a load of wires sticking out where the headunit should be, after i had a look at them, i identified them as:

power - red/black cable with 1/2 a 2A fuse holder at the end
groud - ground cable split into 3
right front speker
left front speaker
right rear speaker
left rear speaker
anntenae

theres no iso or din connectors, just that load of wires sticking out,

my question is, what do i need to to hook up the new headunit i just bought?, im guessing i need to buy some sort of adaptor to wire everything up, cos the headunit has a iso connector.

also, when i wire up the power to the iso adaptor, where does the ground cable come in?

thanks in advance for all replies

Goto Halfords or yr local ICE dealer and pick up a connecter! Cheapish!
Stitch the wires in the relevant holes and crimp into place!
There might be instructions, if not then use your head units wires and connector as a guide!!

If you get stuck with what wires are earth and positive, goto maplin electronics and buy a cheapo multimeter ?5! Will do the trick and be handy in the future anyway!

Thing to remember is that the Permanent live and ignition switched live on a nova are the opposite way around to standard connectors! So test these, otherwise the headunit will do funny things!
