rear panel removal

hi guys
Tommorow i'm starting to remove the rear panel on my nova.Is it just spot welded all the way around or is there more to it and is there anything i should watch for?

just spot welded. it is fiddley tho

also sealent, can be tricky to remove, best for this job is a wire wheel, dont know if you drill straight through or just the old panel layer

drill straight through and then use these holes to spot weld the new one on ;)

Unless you have access to a spot welder in which case weld through one layer! Although personally I'd just drill through the outside panel then punch/drill the new panel, as it's a lot easier to clean it up outside the car
