i thaught id show you my new nova project, im usually a ford man but love vauxhalls aswell after owning quite a few

any way heres how the nova looked when i baught it, she's a gte shell with a 1400 wealden engineering built engine,
she was modified like this about 5 years ago then left in a garage until last month,

so i put it thru an mot & it failed on welding & small stuff like bulbs etc
then she past & that night i hit a dead deer in the road so that got rid of the front splitter & the rear defuser lol (i removed the light brows myself) :thumb:

i was a fan of the speedline but after i while i thaught they where getting a bit dated nowadays so sold them to buy a second hand set of 17" compomotive mo's

ive just purchased a pair of mirrors, gte side skirts & shafts & hubs for a xe conversion from colin smith & all the conversion mounts from chris astly

ive also got a bonnet & tailgate to get painted to get rid of the cheesyness:thumb:

Nice plans for it matey, good to hear your ditching the bonnet and tailgate, it looks like a max power motor at the minute! lol

Any idea what power the 1400 was running?

I also reckon you should put it back to a gte, bumpers and front end. good work so far :thumb:

looks awsome now you have removed the front splitter and rear diffuser(or what ever there called, makes a car look shabby imo!)all you need to do now is fit the skirts as said, and loose the "evo" bonnet mate just looks totaly out of place!.imo there is no better wheel suited to the nova other than compomotive mo's:thumb: and they look wicked in white with the silver car, awsome:) as for the "XE"conversion,i say go for it now you have the parts to start, but finding a more or less factory "1600 gte"is now unfortunatly becomming a rarity:(,good luck with the project.:)
