After taking the engine apart and having new valves put in the car is running better. But when its just started and its cold it runs great, as soon as you get 1 bar on the temperature guage the performance goes completely. Its got plenty of water and oil in it, had new plugs/leads/dizzy/rotar arm. The only thing i can think of is after putting on the 4-1 manifold there is no longer a heat sheild and the engine bay does get very hot. I have a K&N induction kit that sits on the actually throttle body hence i doubt it gets much cold air (this was the same as when i had the old manifold & heatshied). Could this increased engine bay heat be killing the cars performance or will it be something else. Either way i will be trying to get some cold air into the engine bay.
