I just sanded mine down using diffeerent grades of sand paper - roughest first - smoothest last. Primed them and sprayed them gloss black, they look ace!

Nope, either wheels will fit nicely, even with a huge drop.

For a white car I'd be tempted to do for a Medium Grey Colour, as silver on a Slab wont look great paired with white paintwork and white wheels on a white car doesnt work on a Nova IMO. And I doubt that Black wheels would suit the car either.

i was thinking grey or an anthracite sort of colour, any1 got any pics of nova's with dark wheels on/not black dont think black would look to well either- i meant would 195/45/r15 Rubber go on cav slabs with there offset bein 205

205 tyres are way too big for a nova. Will rub the inner arches etc.
You need 195s, ideally 195/45s, but you can get away with 195/50s on some cars.
On others they rub too though.

I have to disagree here mate. I have 205/50 on my 6x15 Comps and I can thrash that thing all over the hill and it wont rub. Its lowered 40mm and lifts all 4s on Hill roads but has never rubbed, even fully loaded. Although to be fair, my arches are pretty well ground and flaired the inners dont catch at all.

Depends on tyre brand a lot too. The best sizes are 195/50 & 45 or 185/55 IMO.

/\ That SR looks pretty ratty.
