As title im now a nova owner once again, went out for a road test in this lil beasty, haggers GTE tonight, left a deposit and collect at weekend.
She aint the tidiest in the world but not many novas are these days really:(
Definately needs arch panels possibly wings, got a hole needs to be patched in the boot but doesnt seem to be too much more that i can see, she has a kent cam (my old NV062 that i sold previous owner) and a full straight through exhaust (which i really dont like the sound of so want something different) she is lowered a lil bit i reckon about -25mm, but enough of my dribble..... pics....

Aye that will keep us busy over winter wont it lol It should also have a Jamex panel filter what i gave the previous owner to hagger aswell

This weekend or next,when im next down? You will need to sort a welder.You must always have a welder when owning a Nova,or at least be able to borrow one lol

You keeping the Cav as well mate? Lovely looking motor and pretty origional. Whats the plans for it?
Aye i sure am bud, gonna be an over winter project i reckon, tidy up de-rust and put the colour coded bits, grille, skirts and the like all back to standard, lowered more, different exhaust few more engine tweeks (currently sits at 110bhp as RR`d @ well lane) and find some cav slabs to refurb i think, not sure whether to keep her black or go for white or not though lol
keep it black bud with set of white cav slabs, lowered more, 4branch and a better system.
Im thinking either black or white but the slabs are gonna be silver i reckon, just need to find some now lol!
Black Car and Silver Slabe, lower it 60mm and leave it at that. I promise you it'll look superb and ace. If you do that and dont like it, you can have all my Cavs.

What like the Turbo Leather? I was gonna pour Magnolia Paint over it then drive the car through a hedge, sand down the roof and flatten all 4 wheels and call it Rat look.
OMG..... ive just spat coffee all over my keyboard, thats funny as hell proper tickled me that one lol.
But yeah if youre throwning the tubby leather out ill take it off you!:thumb:

Looks good & worthy of sprucing up.
I say all black GTE look with white pin stripes in the bumpers & white MO's (or Cav slabs if you have to). Keep the skirts, handles & bumper lips in Grey for OE appeal.
Aye thats the plan, everything thats been colour coded is going back to how it should be, possibly with the exception of the boot spoiler i think, and just freshened up silver slabs with maybe a white pinstripe around the outer lip but wheels will be a long way of being done, bodywork first!

Did someone call? I'm gonna have to dig my "nova welding" hat out am I?
Sorting the boot floor will be fairly easy spudles, roll on side, cut it all out and start again! (with some 75x25x2mm rectangular box for the chassis legs) lol!
Err not too sure about the roll on side bit of that but need a plate/chassis leg mocking up at the back from what i can see but tbh she is in pretty good nick for an 18 year old, most have at least three kids by now at that age and look a lot worse for wear lol

Well unfortunately I haven't got any sheet steel left, (slung it in the back of ATW when it went to be crushed), but it'll be pretty easy to knock a replacement section up.
Aye will be able to think of/cobble something together methinks, cant wait to get me mittens on it at weekend!
