nova 2.0 8valve running problem.

just dropped a 2.0 8 valve in nova. the car wont start from cold and if i do manage to it will idle between 2 and 3 000 rpm until warmed up. just wondered if any one could sheed any light on it. ive changed the AFM and the idle controll valve, plugs, rotorarm. cheers.:mad:

Is the management light wired in, if not start by doing that and checking for error codes?

Id guess it was the CTS tbh. Its the sensor with the blue plug.

Coolant temp sensor :) Look for the blue blug on the engine loom, iirc on the 8v its on the left hand side as you look at the engine, just behind the cam pulley.
