Ok, so i got a spare LCD monitor thats been sitting in the spare room for ages and now ive thought of something to do with it (all will become clear when i get my Pioneers:D) BUT the bugger doesnt work, plug it in and power it on and nothing! So i took the back off and had a lil look-see but i havent a clue what im looking at, would there be blatent signs if it was funked? its not visibly damaged anywere.

And i don know how it stoped working as i got it of a mate who got it of a mate :thumb:

Id guess "it came from a mate of a mate" is the problem breeny is referring to lol

lol yer but what im getting at is as there is no marks on it i even got it in the box, how can it be damaged? Ive just done a bit of reading up on it and its quite an impressive screen (viewsonic vx924) and i think it could be the built in PSU im going to source another and try it. Cheers guys

There are reviews of that circulating from 2005, so you might find that its under a 3 year warranty, if you havent damaged it when you opened it that is. Phone the support number and see if they need a receipt or go by serial number.
