Hope ive spelt canister right.

Are they the same throught most vauxhalls? I need one for my mk2, i broke mine (dont ask)

Last week the scrappy had corsa's and an astra mk2, but apart from that not much else.

You dont actually need it there, you can just plug the pipe i think?

Why should it? If you're concerned about emissions, Novas that came without them pass fine.

Block the vacuum pipe from the inlet to the canistor.
Then remove the canistor.

The car removed it itself.

Ok thanks guys, other pipes just block off?

It has two pipes to the tb/vent valve iirc, so block those off.
The other pipe is the fuel tank breather pipe, dont block that off, just leave it open.
