Started on FleaBay as a £700 buy it now, but it needs a lot of work on it, despite the description. Arches are shot and the rear panel is almost a teabag, by the looks of it.

Shame, cos I really want one...

i think its that the wheels are ****, chrome window surrounds dont suit it and thay havnt painted the gte bumper properly

I know how you mean, the lines of the roof look like they've sagged and overlap and generally just dont fit right. lol

I just don't think the saloon lends itself to the hutchinson conversion. there were a load of pics on here a couple of years ago & they have a bit of the scrapheap challenge about them. the irmscher job looks like a team of engineers worked on it for some time, the hutch looks like it was 'get the gas, we're havin the roof off!'

On Sunday, Burgo explained the finer points of nova saloon design to me, especially the way they extended the boot floor, so I guess the Hutch was only following on from what gm did..........

If I remember rightly, the extra panel was about a foot long? The rear roof line is different aswell I think.

Pretty much the whole back end from the B-pillar rearwards is different, aside from the wheel arches and suspension mounts/arms.
