when doin rear discs can you just get astra rear stub axle, backplate, calipers and carriers and bolt the stub axle straight on nova discs also do nova stubs fit corsa?

No, its not a straight swap. You need the Astra Back Plate from the origional rear beam. Then cut your Nova back plate off, reweld it on in such a way that the Bleed Nipple on the Calipar is facing up and your handbrake cable wont foul the beam.
