I arrived about 7pm on the Sat evening, when most people had gone for a meal. So sat about with Riggy,Lee H and co for a bit until it started pissing down and going dark, so i decided set my tent up lol
Also realised i forgot my sleeping bag and pillow(i was really looking forward to this sleep :roll:,Lol)
Pretty much hammered it down with rain all through Sat night, but the weather came good on Sunday :D
Overall a decent weekend(apart from the png flag incident)

I think Ade was pretty pleased with the service :)

Hmm, the flag incedent. Have to say that peed me off for the whole of Sunday and im still fecking angry now as i write this tbh. Especially when it was blatantly stolen for a 'giggle' and probably lobed in the stream or in a bush.
Other than that, it was great to see a load of old faces, and meet some new ones! Weve learnt a huge amount from this years effort to ensure next year will be a belter.

Andy, exactly. Its not worth anything to anyone but us. Complete waste of money, and unfortunately the remaining flag, and its replacememnt when I get around to ordering it will have to be well looked after in future. You live and learn I guess.

Well i left at about 9 and just got in. I would just like to thank all of those that made it, it has to be one of the funniest weekends i think i have had for a while, just full of banter and abuse in the highest form :thumb: (i dont think my sides have hurt from so much laughter in years)
I am just sorting out some aftersun after getting a tad red from the last 2 days burning sun and i shall post up my few random pics i took. I know that there are some more awesome pics coming from the other guys that also pretty much explain the whole weekend and what it was about.
^ have to agree Dan, was a fantastic weekend! So much fun in such a short time! As said, those who didnt attend (shame on you lol) but there are some amazing pictures to come mainly from Ade (go karting espcially!) shame he missed the Red Arrows fly by mind lol

Yeah was nice to catch up you guys, and i was gutted when i saw the go karts on my way out! lol if you had said were going karting instead of mini golf id of stayed and done that even in the rain!!
I shall need to sort the car out for some track days before the years out, and then it will be ready for next years abuse and shows etc.
Lets hope that more can attend these type of days out/events etc as there more about the social side then the cars.

i made it back 85 miles in 1hr 15min :)...as every ones said it was a great weekend. was good to see few face that ive meet before and good to meet some new people and faces..hope every one else got home ok??

Awesome weekend, we got in late last night and went straight to bed, there was no way I was up for looking at a screen, I dread to think what Ade's journey is like! Thank god for my iPod, I wouldn't be able to make long journeys in the Nova without it!
I have quite a few pics, will sort them later, not many of the cars but just general antics that were going on!
Was ace to meet new people and see familier faces! Thanks to everyone that came. Shame more of you couldn't have made it.
As for the flag incident, let's look into an electric fence type thing to stop thieving idiots from touching it!

Fantastic weekend. Everyone really chilled, up for doing anything - fair, golf, karting, meals, messing about. Really was good laugh, everyone mixed and chatted, good to meet you all and put a few faces to usernames! Everybody's other half's were really nice too, I'm probably the only one on here am I? Hi all anyway!

Looked a right laugh,really gutted i couldnt make it.Money was just not there.Had a babysitter for my little girl arranged the lot

I was gutted when that happened. From then on it was never gonna be fair lol. He would have won that if it didnt break, there was no way around him :) It was decided on a flip of the coin as to who got the inside line at the start lol

Before I set off I topped up me brake reservior - was a little low so did a toppie whilst checking other fluids...
I set off at 10am - saw Mazz drive by me at the BP garage whilst I stuffed me face with a sausage bap and coffee outside Billing - all fueled up and off I went...
Got home at 7.15pm! Stopped 4 times for coffee and pee stops and drove at 3000rpm all the way home (I think its about 65mph lol!)
Weather was great until I got north of Lancaster Services then it went very dark - Shap summit was driving through clouds!
Got over the border and it went really sunny again!
I have to say the brakes are FANTASTIC! No judder - really responsive and the pedal imo isnt soft at all...I only have to lightly touch it and I can feel
it bite...
Pics wise I've done one of the cards and there's some cracking shots (If I do say so muself) - didnt get one of Dan munching the pie though.
I'll try and post them tomorrow along with a full report - I need some sleep now...
Was an excellent 3 days - glad I did the lot - the crack was excellent - a great start to the 1st club anniversary and it can only get better!

Well I actually managed to get to a png meeting, As I pulled in every single person there turned round & stared, when I strolled over & introduced myself, they all went 'Oh' and nodded knowingly... I may only have been ther for the sunday, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Sorry about my daughters golfing. whose ankle did she clobber with the ball???? I was too busy trying not to laugh..
the Karting was marvellous... the banter was great, & to actually be in the same place as other people who want to talk about novas was priceless ....
I will get the old girl legal & drive to my next event.
ps. seeing the microwave & generator cooking one of those petrol station cheeseburgers was the funniest thing all day

I was only there for the Sunday too but it was a good day out, nice to meet you all again (and a few of you for the first time, novait etc) :) Looking forward to Trax now :D
Awesome pictures, couldn't get on last night as I was out drinking again believe it or not.
What a great weekend, so funny and the banter was brilliant. Was a little disappointed to be offered a booster seat for karting, didn't see the funny side myself!!
Journey back was a laugh to, chavvy Astra, Audi TT and then Fiesta RST all got double teamed by the lowly Nova's!!
The booster seat thing had to be the highlight of the weekend, i dont think i have come so close to wetting myself since i was 4 years old, absolute genius, i can confirm lee's dismay as the whites of his eyes told the whole story as he turned around in that " dont you dare laugh" stylee which made it all the more funny lol lol lol
TBH, I was a little apprehensive about going not knowing anyone, but everyone made us feel welcome and i'm really glad we went now, had a top weekend - putting screen names to face's, the go-karting (waiting the 'fail' pics from Ade!) and the general banter/atmosphere between everyone. Only downer in the entire weekend was the flag. (might be worth a call to Billing to see if it was left behind)

now ive caught up on sleep id just like to say a massive thanks to everyone who went, as in my opinion its the people that make the club and made the weekend so awesome. already looking forward to next years
What Burgo says is spot on, great bunch of people and all so friendly. You can sometimes feel a bit excluded at car shows when everyone else knows each other but not this time.

My 10 year old daughter is still telling everyone about it, except the swearing, which mike, to his credit, did keep apologizing for.
The Red Arrows flypast was marvellous, and credit must go to admin for that one....
The car clinic should be extended, with our combined expertise, everything is possible.
I am planning to do the whole camping thing next time.

What a great weekend, so funny and the banter was brilliant. Was a little disappointed to be offered a booster seat for karting, didn't see the funny side myself!!
