Ive just bought a 1.6 gsi engine and cant decide what colour to paint it, so give me your opinions :thumb:

Black with silver/polished detailing.

A silver engine might look messy if it hasn't been rebuilt with new gaskets etc. - Lets face it, all old engines have slight oil leaks etc, its normal.

But, a silver engine will help identify oil leaks!!

I'm so negative :( lol

Yeah but its all been done before.

Look at Lynz's China Blue WIP, she has a Black SEH in it now and it looks fantastic.
